Another Realm
by Nudrat Siddiqui
USA

It all comes back to the time
Did you not see the moment laying still
The silence within that mixture which flowed before your sight
The mixture of H2O flowing before my sight
The obscure memories of such a day
with every memory laying with it a thought
with every thought, lay with it a memory
It all transits before me as I stand; my hands, one on top of another gently on my heart and chest
With words of praise, a bow
with a posture as to place something still
Again, with never ending, esteemed words of praise
Kneeling in prostration.
Laying flat on the floor, my place of sujood
With greetings and words of tranquility,
spreading it from right to left.
Words of praise remain lit
A glance far and above
My eyes soaring into another realm; dimension
A tear of repentance, a word of greatness
In this moment lay the spell of humility
"Oh Allah, hear my dua, I pray to Thee,
The Lord of the Heavens and the Earth,
A mu'minah I wish to be
among the awliyeen, sawliheen
A student of eternal knowledge,
Lead the Ummah to the deen"
I remain in this phase, a step out of this realm; I remain keen
I've been given a task
All's been ordained for you and I
Painting a picture with every words
This book of guidance and trust
A task completed in Khushu'
Forever valuable, these actions in the dunya you may do
From the travel of the soul to the day of the rain, a day of reckoning
Oh my Lord make me steadfast on this act of success
My last breath, with your words let my soul surpress.
Ameen Ya Rab... Take a hold of my Qalb.
