Eyes of the Outsider
by Francisco Deleon
USA

I looked at the Men who bowed in the day to the strange
music that played
The voice hypnotizing
They say Islamic Faith ..Is corrupt
But if they look
They are corrupt
They see what they wish to see
But from outsiders eyes I see beauty
I see sands sweeping soft melodies
I hear children play
I cry for understanding of two faiths
I fear the impending
But open my arms to Allah
