My...
by Amanah Khalid
UK

 My best Friend, My Light,
My blanket of Safety during the night.
My right Arm, My Shield,
My source of Shelter in an open field.

My Provider, My Breath,
My Restorer even after death.
My Life, My Dream,
My Love like an endless stream.

My Creator, My Power,
My Master at the final hour.
My Joy, my Gain,
My Examiner time and time again.

My Sustainer, My Might,
My Conscience choosing wrong or right.
My Guide, my Eyes,
My Witness and Protector against lies.

My Glory, My Reign,
My Healer of heartache and pain.
My Gracious, My Truth,
My Merciful through aged and through youth.

You are my Lord, You are my King
You are a song only my heart can sing.
You are owed my love, and I will give it Inshallah,
My praise be to You, the One, most Gracious Allah
