I Cry For You
by Umer Ahmed
USA

Every night before I sleep,
I begin to think,
Of my brother so far away,
He could die as I blink,

Oh brother please be strong,
Hold your head up high,
May Allah give you peace,
I wish all your evils would just say goodbye

I fear for your death,
Even though I never heard your name,
When I hear of your death,
I know it was early when it came,

Five times a day,
I pray for you,
Five times a day,
I cry for you.

Brother I just want you to know,
When you are alone is this world so cruel,
When it feels like the world is not on your side,
I want you to know, I cry for you.
