The Merciful One's eternal word
my heart awakens, soul enraptured;
it harks back to the ancient Covenant
made before my earthly existence.

clear is the message, recited, repeated
the guiding light of inspiration and healing,
declaring good tidings to the dutiful.
to the heedless, an admonishment and warning

peace to the Honoured Servant,
entrusted with the weighty mission,
carrying the unassailable miracle
revealed to a forgetful mankind
