Muslims
by Ahlam Abukhadarah
USA

Why are some Muslims,
Treated so bad?
People seem so happy,
But with us they are always mad.

I use to have an American friend,
She never let me down,
But one day I told her that I was a Muslim,
She ran to her home with a frown.

Muslims are being talked about,
Almost everywhere,
Name-calling here,
False statements there.

Don't they know?
The Meaning of Islam,
We'll show them & correct them,
As much as we can
