A Kind, Merciful Lord
by Rubiya Riaz
Pakistan

What a Kind King!
What a Great Lord!
Such Wisdom! Such Power! Such Glory!
The Maker and the Sustainer!
Such Power! Such Glory!
But the concern and love of a thousand mothers,
So widely embracing!
Who answers His petitioners,

What a Kind King!
What a Great Lord!
Such Wisdom! Such Power! Such Glory!
The Maker and the Sustainer!
Such Power! Such Glory!
But the concern and love of a thousand mothers,
So widely embracing!
Who answers His petitioners,
With such Grace and Benevolence,
What a Merciful, Forgiving Ruler!
The Owner of such a huge Kingdom,
Yet so Patient,
To listen to the woes of even the most wretched,
one of the most blameworthy,
one of the most unthankful.
So Merciful and Forgiving is He!
To listen to those who sin then repent,
Of His courtiers.
What a Great Ruler!
Of a Kingdom so vast!

 My best Friend, My Light,
My blanket of Safety during the night.

 My best Friend, My Light,
My blanket of Safety during the night.
My right Arm, My Shield,
My source of Shelter in an open field.

My Provider, My Breath,
My Restorer even after death.
My Life, My Dream,
My Love like an endless stream.

My Creator, My Power,
My Master at the final hour.
My Joy, my Gain,
My Examiner time and time again.

My Sustainer, My Might,
My Conscience choosing wrong or right.
My Guide, my Eyes,
My Witness and Protector against lies.

My Glory, My Reign,
My Healer of heartache and pain.
My Gracious, My Truth,
My Merciful through aged and through youth.

You are my Lord, You are my King
You are a song only my heart can sing.
You are owed my love, and I will give it Inshallah,
My praise be to You, the One, most Gracious Allah

Love for Allah swt?
by Omar Mohammad
Netherlands

How can you claim Love for One that you don't obey?
If you loved Him you would pray, and seek His Face night and day...
How can you claim a heart that is good and pure?
When The Prophet said your heart is sick and needs a cure....
How can you walk with pride and laugh so much?
When your sins are many and death ... Read More

If you loved Him you would pray, and seek His Face night and day...
How can you claim a heart that is good and pure?
When The Prophet said your heart is sick and needs a cure....
How can you walk with pride and laugh so much?
When your sins are many and death has you in its clutch...
How can you not feel sorrow and pain for your brothers & sisters, oppressed?
When you know that their tears, don't come to a rest....
How can you hear His call to prayer and success?
And turn away deaf while to this you confess.....
How can you claim to be on His Path while you look asleep?
When He Himself described His Path as being steep.....
Dear Brother if it is true what you claim...!!!
Than Glory be to God who knows everyone's aim....

Love Not Those That Set

She looked at the sky and fell in love with the clouds
She looked at the rain, and loved the showers
She looked at the stars, and resolved

But she loves not those that set.

She looked at the sea she fell in love with their reflections
She looked at the fields, and loved the flowers
She looked at sun, and resolved

But she loves not those that set.
And she could not look at their Maker.
And she loves not those that set.
But she loves in the sky, a sun that sets

So love the One for which the sky was made to submit.
So love the One for whose reflection the grand sea was created to magnify.
So love not the stars, and the clouds and the flowers.
Love whose mercy rains over them, reviving this varied creation to adore Him

So love not those that set.

Love You Forever
by Halimah bint David Mac Quarrie

Sweetest love more than imagined
How you warm my heart and soul
Greatest truth shines the very brightest
Most Forgiving and Merciful

The Most Truest Friend and much more
Sweetest love more than imagined
All that is grand and quite tiny
I can find delight in all these things

Sweetest love more than imagined
How you warm my heart and soul
Greatest truth shines the very brightest
Most Forgiving and Merciful

The Most Truest Friend and much more
Sweetest love more than imagined
All that is grand and quite tiny
I can find delight in all these things

Your mercy binds all around me
You always know how I am feeling
Sweetest love more than imagined
While I am alive I am your slave

The brilliant sun that you set down
How you raise the moon to give light
Your Greatness leaves me as the dust.
Sweetest love more than imagined

How thee warmth my heart and soul
I give thanks to you and love you forever
I hope to stand in front of you
Pure and clean with no shame on me

I hope and pray to see your face
How you warm my heart and soul
I pray to be worthy of your mercy
You have always taken great care of me

I give thanks I have lived this long
I am Muslim and newborn
How you warm my heart and soul
Beautiful blessings shower upon me

Every day is another chance
To seek after your truth
Praise you in all your glory
How you warm my heart and soul
