For Our Children: In this Holy Month of Ramadan
by Amanah Khalid
UK

Can we fast? Oh yes we can!
It is the Month of Ramadan.
We eat when Allah says we can,
We do not do what has been banned,
Can we fast? Oh yes we can!
In the Month of Ramadan.

Can we be good? Oh yes we can!
It is the Month of Ramadan.

Can we be good? Oh yes we can!

We are good for Dad and Mam,
We do not listen to Shaitan,
Can we be good? Oh yes we can!

Can we love Allah?  Oh yes we can!
It is the Month of Ramadan.
We pray after the Azaan,
We strengthen our Eman,
Can we love Allah?  Oh yes we can!
It is the Month of Ramadan.

Can we learn? Oh yes we can!
It is the Month of Ramadan.
We read lots of the Qur'an,
We give Zakat to the poor man,
Can we learn? Oh yes we can!
In the Month of Ramadan.

Am I Muslim? Oh yes I am!
It is the Month of Ramadan.
We eat when Allah says we can,
We do not do what has been banned,
We are good for Dad and Mam,
We do not listen to Shaitan,
We pray after the Azaan,
We strengthen our Eman,
We read lots of the Qur'an,
We give Zakat to the poor man,
Am I Muslim? Oh yes I am!
In the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Ramadan Is Here.

Another year has gone its here again,
the most sacred of months has returned,
Ramadan is here, Ramadan is here!!!
The Saytans are gone, the fasting is here,
we have no excuses not to be forgiven this year,

We need to refrain from lying and cheating,
Backbiting and smoking, eating and drinking,
and need to engage in Salah and Fasting, Dawah and
Zikr, Quran and Zakah.

We must open our hearts seeking forgiveness,
not merely from raising our hands and uttering “forgive me"
but with the tears from of our eyes, and the sincerity of our hearts,

We have to make time to clear our sins, as Allah (SWT) is the Most Merciful and Forgiving.

Ramadan is here, we must pray our sins disappear

Eid
by Noma hussain

Eid is my favorite holiday.
Friends and family get together.
We can't delay this beautiful day
It never matters what the weather.

We go to the mosque
So we can pray.
We wear nice clothes,
But we still get to pray.

Eid is a Muslim holiday

We go to the mosque
So we can pray.
We wear nice clothes,
But we still get to pray.

We go outside
And we skip and run.

Eid is not the time
To be alone.
Now it is the time
To go home.

Allah is One

No father, no mother

No sister, no brother

No daughter, no son

Allah is Great

Allah hears and see what we do,

Allah protects us from Shaitan

Allah is the only One

Quran is our book

We read it every night and day

Allah is One

We thank Allah

While we pray.

Allah is One

We thank Allah

For work, and play

For home , for food

We thank Allah for every day.

Beautiful Tears
by Amani Ansari
USA

Mohammad (s) weeped for us.
The whole world full of tears.
Tears running down his cheeks,
He cried for all his fears.

Our beloved Prophet cried for us.
Because he wanted us to go to Jannah.
He wanted this beautiful Islam to last,
Because he cared about his Ummah.

Tears running down his cheeks,
He cried for all his fears.

Our beloved Prophet cried for us.
Because he wanted us to go to Jannah.
He wanted this beautiful Islam to last,
Because he cared about his Ummah.

If I lived at the Prophet's time,
I would give him the most beautiful flower,
And say "I love you",
Until the Final Hour.

I would tell him I will worship Allah,
So we can be together in Jannah.
