Medina. Medina. Medina.
If only I had lived
The land lit with the light of the Prophet.
The Prophet.
The Prophet Muhammad.
Dust filled with justice, water imbued with blessing,
Air radiant with the breath of the Beloved.
For my feet to walk in the same dust
that he stepped
a pathway to purest bliss.
For my ears to hear his humble tongue
gently enjoining and kindly forbidding.
For my eyes to gaze upon the beautiful
tears streaming down my fallen face.
If only, if only,
if only the yearning in my heart could be quenched,
The fire of longing extinguished.

Ya Allah, Most Merciful,
Shower peace on the Blessed Muhammad,
Rain forgiveness on my soul,
so that one day I may be near for eternity
the beloved,
The Beloved,
The Beloved Muhammad.

A sign of mercy to mankind--
The Gift of the dandelion.

In the mirror I see a woman
Whose tongue cannot explain
The desire in her heart.

Like a weed my desire grows.
Cut away by dunya
But steadfast and irrepressible.

The weed has strength that we cannot see
Roots firmly in the soil of Islam.
The Prophet's way feeds the thirst,
'Ilm is the sun
Taqwa is the air.

This weed cannot be destroyed
and blooms with the flowers
That the innocence of youth see as beautiful,
And the children do not wonder why
the moth flutters amongst those weeds.
We who are grown, so wise in our years laugh
at our children's love of those weeds.
We gently cast away the gift of the dandelion.
We do not see the value of the weed as a way
to follow in the lessons of the teacher.

A blessing on all of mankind--
The Gift of the dandelion.

The eyes of this world have never seen such a beautiful soul,

Permeating the air with the bold fragrance of truth and the sweet aroma of belief.

Enlightened with the message from the Lord of all the worlds,

His tongue spread its wings to give glad tidings and invite us all.

The harvest of his lips nourished starving souls,

As all who knew him bathed in the gentleness of his unspoken words.

Allah's Word engulfed him,

As he extended his arms to us offering freedom in surrender, and life after death.

It was His will that we melt and take shape in his heart,

While drinking from the fountain of his well-trodden path.

We continue to follow his way of life, which was perfected for us,

As bedtime stories of Badr and Uhud, Mecca and Madina rest between our toes.

The deafening screams of sinful living,
The hollow echoes of idolatry,
Tired roads, broken bridges, darkness and despair,
Heated deserts scorched by glimpses of hell,
The Period of Ignorance, running out of time and places to hide,
The clouds dissipated, the sun shone bright,
Dark winter chills replaced with the light breezes of spring,
Raindrops of theological and spiritual knowledge inundating to surrender,
Rainbows of reverie colored the minds’ skies,
The soldiers of his heart conquered both his ego and the land,
The incarnation of Allah’s Holy Message wrapped us in the warm blanket of Islam.

He illuminated our hearts and enlightened our minds,
The Trustworthy, Praiseworthy, Messenger to mankind.
He brought insight and vision to the spiritually blind.
Any way to disprove his claims no one could find.

As Abraham, Moses and Jesus, he taught the One-ness of Allah,
Regarding women, orphans, and slaves, he corrected what he saw,
He was always patiently teaching and promoting adherence to divine law,
He even forgave her for eating the human organ raw.

He recited to us that we should rush to worship as if in the midst of a race,
He assured us that although we do not see, Allah sees us any and every place,
His message navigates and transcends all time and space,
His hope for himself and us all to see Allah's Face.

In the hushed silence, darkness flowed,
Broken only by the candle's wary flicker.
Wide eyes, open hearts and freed minds,
Their breaths a constant zhikr.
And then he speaks with a voice so gentle,
Eloquence epitomised, scattered with a glittering array of stars.
They move with every syllable, cry with his tears,
Feel every Ayah, until his shadow disappears.
And I yearn to have been there,
To shield him from the raucous crowds,
Capture his smile when I saved him,
From just one rock, of the thousands thrown.
To have heard him, our precious gift,
Even from afar,
His voice sailing on the willing breeze,
At least knowing he is there.
To have witnessed the marvels of his message,
Oh! seen the beauty of my Creator's work;
Or been as a wing of the fly, on a leaf of a tree,
Shading his head, though he would not see me.
Ha! but what a plight is mine,
As my soul wrings in anguish, I know it cannot be so.
The pages have turned too quickly
And I'm left with the wisp of a hope.
The present drears on, painfully slow.
So I look to the future,
A misty window, I try desperately to clear
With the message flooding my bosom but
Oh, how I would that I had been there.

Besides being chosen by Allah to be the last prophet and spreading the beautiful message of Al-Islam.
He was the best example of a human being that ever lived
Before becoming a prophet he was known as Al-amin, the Trustworthy
He was a peaceful, pious, man.
What other person do you know like him?
His beautiful life stories that are revered
Is there anyone who can compare?
How honorable and beautiful, he was even to the ugliest in character.
What a man!
And that's exactly what he was.
The best man that ever lived!
I thank Allah for Prophet Muhammad because he was a blessing to us all.
He brought the timeless book that we call the Qur'an
He spread the message of Allah and has enlightened us all
May the Peace of Allah be upon him

Your character was so pure and strong,
You never did anybody wrong.
As-Sadiq, you were known as a boy,
Providing the land, mother, and wet-nurse so much joy,
Among him were men of advice,
Truly, they followed a guided light.

Blessed and wise were his actions,
Tested and tried with the great migration,
Through and through came the revelations,
With his wifes support, he found relaxation.
Only our beloved Prophet (SAW) was so special,
To meet Allah (SWT) at His personal level.

He was looked up to by the rest,
And even today he is considered the best.
His showering efforts for an Ummah so vast,
He cared more so for his followers of the future,
These stories and events are looked upon as the past,
But we must look to him as our greatest teacher.

Al-Muallim,
The best of examples
Our primary source of guidance,
He cried his tears,
For his Ummah to persaveer,
Loving and caring for others before himself,
That is Our Teacher!

When you are in distress,
My friend, make dua,
When you are grieved and feel your problems are bigger than a mountain,
My friend, make dua,
When you are afflicted with pain,
My friend, make dua
When you feel you cannot go on anymore,
My friend, make dua
When you feel you cannot succeed in life,
There is hope,
My friend, make dua,
When you've cried and your tears have flowed like water from a waterfall,
Allah has counted your tears,
My friend, make dua,
Whatever troubles you in life, when you feel you cannot carry your burden, even when you are surrounded by rays of happiness,
My friend, Make dua
