My enshrouding sphere, You bestow abundantly,
Wings of the angel lay down for you on the way to the Lote-tree.

You are the rain of mercy and compassion from the most Supreme,
You are the Master of existence, prior even to Adam.

O the Ocean of Light! Would your grace cascade from a fountain?
The myriads of hearts would each become for you a crystal pool.

Black Locks you must be called, O the Beloved,
I wonder if my cry can reach you, dull, enfeebled.

My troubles are far too many, and I myself possess no cures at all,
I spent summers in vain, and am left in poverty in the fall.

Perhaps a hand will be extended, I thought, if I knock on your door,
Perhaps my Master could find a cure for this sinner.

I am afraid to hear you say, "Who is he"
Then, all abodes would become a dungeon for me.

Moons split at your command,
Nothing but a full moon is seen in your face.

Purest water pours down from your fingers quenching armies,
The hardest hearts soften in rapture with your breath.

Your blessed saliva is a heavenly river and a salve for the wounded,
Every moment in your company is time spent in heaven.

Black Locks I say, for the color of the Hira cave
Is united in harmony with that of the Miraj night.

Hajar al-Asad is imbued in black,
Inspired by the black of your hair, O the Beloved with rosebud lips.

Black Locks I say, for the pitch black of the Ka'ba,
Draining the color of your eyes, as if from Kawthar.

O Black Locks, come before laments are no longer of use,
O Black Locks, come before my life comes to a close.

O Black Locks, come before my love fades in my heart,
O Black Locks, come before the Angel descends to take this life away.

Burying my face into your prints in the dust,
Burning in flames, crying your name Muhammad!

I wish to reach the land beyond, thirsty and tired,
On my lips, may cries of water and Lord become entwined.

O Black Locks, all my days roam in this way,
Each ordeal passes engulfed in longing for you.

There is only one Allah
And Muhammad is His Messenger
Through his light our lives are pure
Through his love our hearts are cured

There is only one Allah
And Muhammad is His Messenger
Through his light our lives find ease
Through his love our hearts find peace

Before he entered our lives
We were sinners and we lied
We would slander and we'd cheat
We had pride and we had greed

Muhammad taught us to be
Righteous men and women free
Of all dark, disgraceful traits
Of all base, ignoble states

He fought battles for our sake
He cried nights and stayed awake
He prayed that Allah should give
Give us life eternally

In the bliss of Paradise
In the presence of The King
Through his endless sacrifice
Without punishment or pain

Without lives passed on in vain
But with lives spent in his way
In a way The One above
Would be pleased with and would grace

His example lives today
For his soul our Ummah prays
And on him we send our blessings and our praise

You led us from darknesses
into the Light
Though the disbelievers hated it
with all their spite

Oh would that you had
lived to see!
This generation that hath
fallen in love with thee

But you chose the Highest Companion
To Him you were true
As we struggle to be
true to Him, through you.

I envy the stars,
who from steadfast silent perch,
looked down and saw your face.
I envy the breeze,
who carried Quran from your lips,
and danced with sudden grace.
I envy the sand,
Allah placed in your path,
which bathed your blessed feet.
I envy them all,
Each place, each object you touched,
Every person you did greet.
You were a jewel
Within a bed of coal
A treasure in plain sight.
It's you I trust
To convey the simple truth
And guide me with its light.
I am a stranger
To your nation and your time,
Yet this message draws me near.
Oh splendid Prophet,
If I can't be there with you
How I long to have you here.
I am so weak,
And the devils are so close,
I fear I'll sin with every choice.
That's why I yearn
And my heart does find its peace
In the echo of your voice.

My heart is awoken from slumber when i speak your name
I drink the sweetness its echo has poured into my cup
And my soul is overwhelmed by its everlasting taste

Beauty is raining from this mystic sound
I fear the consequences i would cause if i let my heart speak and not my tongue

For my veins would quiver in unanticipated joy
My eyes would release a flood i am unable to swim away from
And My head would rhythmically shake like a Kurdish Sufi

For the sound of your name has ignited my flame
And water is scarce to burn it out

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
He loved his Ummah
and worried for us
urged the hot coal in our hand
to flourish with us

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
Muslims fighting Muslims
Brother vs. Brother
we've forgotten the love
that once tied us together

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
atheist and agnostics
how can they worship
if they don't believe
how can they be saved
if they don't take heed

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
not because of his slandered name
but for those who slander
because they will be blamed

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
His brothers are in chains
Shot
Tortured
Maimed

A teardrop falls 1400+ years ago
the end is approaching
and he is saved
but he was sent to guide humanity
and we are unprepared

O the white moon rose over them
In the valley of Wada'
and the greatest tragedy of them all
is that we weren't there

to observe Islam
walking, speaking
a constant source of inspiration
with every question there lied an answer
one true and certain

O the white moon
could quiver with envy
at his beyond luminous face
Juxtaposed dark eyes glistening
from tears, out of love for his Ummah

the many prayers he led justifiably
and the people he left in awe
His soothing soft voice of sensibility
Smile of compassion and strength

O the white moon rose over them
In the valley of Wada'
where they had a true leader
to speak the words of God
A gift to humanity did stay

In honor of Prophet Muhemmed SAW
*****
There is rain in the heart
So we blame the rain
And the heart
And the windows swung open
That let the rain inundate our insides
*****
Blind as we are
We see not the rain
As part of a stream
Leading to green
And a token of spring, come early
*****
We see only wetness
Coldness, aloneness
The remnant of hope
Soaked with our clothes
In an eternal winter, come early
*****
Oh Muhemmed, come show us the green
Come show us the hope
That resounds in your deeds
Come show us Alhumdulilah
And SubhanAllah when tragedy befalls us early
*****
Remind us that life is a passage
And death is a passage
And you are a passage to Him
And we are a part of this miraculous rain
A drop in the stream bound to Him
Ameen

The heavenly doors of al bait ul ma\'amur opens...
The lord of the alamin spreads his mercy and love..
And let down to mankind the prophet of eternity
for words of monotheism to be spread...

He is the man of honest thoughts and humble fascia
His yaqin drew him close to the hearts of the unseen and unknown
He was the prophet of nobelity..
his gestures reflected the verses of the quran
His inspirational teachings titled sunnah filled the masses with reverence

The muslim to enter ar-raiyan
The prophet to whom the holy book was revealed
the pious believer to drink the water of kauther
The man of everlasting faith...
The cold blooded warriors kneeled down to the prophets credence
Non believers trounced at his devotion

His journeys were accompanied by al qaswa
The ansaris stood by the prophets uphill struggle
yet...the prophets intimate khalil was the almighty

He conveyed the message of truth
Knocking the doors of the unfaithful
conversed to the deaf...
Showed the ayahs to the blind...
And the dumb to recite..

He was the prophet of yester years
Of the present eon
And the epoch ahead....
