Beginning with praising Allahu al-Aziz al-Karim,

He who guided us to the Sirat al-Mustaqeem.

From utter blankness he fashioned all that we see,

Without his assistance we are lost on a boundary-less sea.

He sent to us a light shinning so bright,

A light of guidance for those endowed with insight.

He was Muhammad from the tribe of Quraysh,

To a noble consanguinity his lineage is traced.

From his father 'Abd Allah to Our Master Ibrahim,

So dignified and virtuous that he was named al-Amin.

Salutations upon him are obligatory when we pray,

Those who omit it are demented in endless dismay.

Chosen by His Lord to finalize the prophetic continuation,

Rejecting his message warrants damnation.

His was the same call of Moses, Abraham, and Jesus who were hanif,

The world was suffering gravely, in His Mercy Allah sent it relief.

Religions were changed, the true faith was discarded,

Moral degeneration had reached depths uncharted.

Revelation began with the word Iqra,

Through the medium of Jibra'il in the cave of Hira.

An unletterd Arabian was selected for this propagation,

To guide mankind until the Day of Reconciliation.

The invitation was to Allah's Tawhid,

Purifying hearts from vice, sin, and greed.

Calling all the creation to the true religion,

To offer prayers, give charity, and shun superstition.

Reawakening hearts to their natural inclination,

The betterment of humanity became the glorious ramification.

Perpetual love for him is our most cherished possession,

Eternal bliss will be found if we obey His direction,

The most useful provision includes recollection,

Of the stories of him so worthy of mention.

His mannerisms and demeanor are so beloved by Our Creator,

Ability to observe the Prophet's Sunnah is the ultimate favor.

The most eloquent pen cannot author a just depiction,

Even so admiration necessitates a humble rendition.

His perfect complexion was shaded in the tone of wheat,

This is what Anas relates as he was flawless from his head to his feet.

Allâh made him most beautiful beyond compare,

His face radiant like a full moon casting illumination everywhere.

His turbans were green and white,

Black when he entered Makkah granting it’s inhabitants respite.

Between his blessed shoulders rested the confirmation,

With no inch of doubt his was the final legislation.

Quintessence of conduct coupled with etiquette exact,

Exhibiting civility to those with whom he would interact.

As bashful as a young virgin hidden behind a veil,

The greatest men of this world stand to him the size of snails.

Allah's wrath is the fear of those who transgress,

So few words from the Chosen One grant redress.

He is the key to the door of Allah's benignancy,

Loyal to his way are those finding clemency.

We must follow him to that there isn't a grain of contention,

Ya Muhammad we are needy of your intersession.

We ask Allah to grant us deep love for his revered dignitary,

Vanguard to his path the invitation we must carry.

Words such as these may captivate the hearer,

Nevertheless fidelity and action these words must mirror.

Earnestly supplicating with the composition of this last line,

That my Lord forgives me before I reach the end of my time.

What made me travel far in me...
What really had left a scar in me...
Was contemplating the perfect harmony...
How Allah decended His Beloved, the origin
of all creation!
The Sea of Mercy poured into the flesh of an
open basin...
And how the agreeance of the two was pure
elation...
I even contemplated how I could arrive at such
contemplation!
Only to derive that such an ecstasy,
Must be wrought without discrepancy...
It was as if the thought was standing next to me!
Almost telepathy....
Unexplainable, the perfect harmony was seemingly
unobtainable...
But, it was obtained as such by one who held it in
his clutch...
Behold !
Muhammad - The Soul was placed in
Muhammad - the body made by the light of the
same soul...
the origin of all existance...
Light upon light !
A delicate stroke of brilliance
from a Master in no need of subsistance...
Perhaps, I cannot describe delight...
Ohhh, how the soul did dance inside it's light!
The marvel of the flesh was wrapped in taw'waf
around its likeness...
So much so, the pangs of birth illumined Syria
with its brightness...
Allah azza wa jalla, might just...
Raise your station if you cry in meditation
on how He honored His best creation!
Ohhh, how Allah did make him!
Tongues praise him too often timidly!
For he is the Epitome of the universe in
Perfect Symmetry...
Salla'lahu Alayhi Was'Salam...
Preciously sweet like sugar on a child's tongue!

Oh Mother of mine,
You are so strong,
Loving me since birth,
Teaching me right from wrong.

You gave me everything you could,
You're greatest gift to me was life,
You loved me more than yourself,
I only wish you're characteristics are shared by my wife.

You raised me in foreign land,
You showed me to love the world,
Taught me to hate none,
You even showed me its ok to love a girl.

I know I have caused trouble,
Stress I have caused for Father and you,
I should have told you before,
That I Love You.

Of all your teachings I cherish one,
You taught me how to live life within Islam,
"Oh Umer, Love Muhummad and Allah more than yourself,"
Thank you Ummi for you taught me my Iman.

As I slowly wheep,
tears down my face,
looking as you quietly sleep,
thinking of how the years have gone to waste.

Before I see you for the last time,
quietly I pray,
memories crossing my mind,
my eyes run dry.

Before your death,
I prayed to Allah,
That on your last breath,
you said "La illah ha illallah muhammadurr rasullullah"

Allah created the heavens and the earth,
It's not hard to believe,
Allah created man,
Starting with Adam and Eve,

The day of Abraham,
Who lived under the arabian sun,
Bringing a teaching for humanity,
That God is One,

Trough time came evil,
Forced into slavery,
Trapped in the pharaoh's land,
Untill Moses split the sea,

Living simpley,
Life was not the same,
Israel searched for a Messiah,
And thats when Jesus came,

In a time of confusion,
The final messenger came,
A prophet who would change the world,
Muhammed was his name.

His great life and teachings

Of submission, faith and patience

Love, piety and graciousness

Are for all to see

Sent by the Divine

As seal of the prophets

In a magnificent procession

A long line

Conveying an eternal message,

Unity of the Creator

Righteousness and morality

Commanding virtue and preventing vice

For your redemption and mine

Receiver of the Revelation

Deliverer of the Noble Book

The Last Testament

The clear Truth

The shining Light

The straight Path

To render justice

Embrace the abandoned

Live in peace and harmony

With all neighbors and nations

So for the wise faithful

To honor his legacy

To fulfill his mission

And show your love

Follow in his footsteps

Be righteous

Show grace

Seek justice and peace

And blessings from Above

You can't win an argument with the ignorant he said.
Ignoring his words, they protested and bled
Ignoring the oppressed and the children left dead
Ignoring the cruise missiles fired overhead
They argued and argued and nowhere, it led.

When asked for advice, he said, Do not get mad.
Ignoring his words and the fall of Baghdad
Ignoring the orphans and widows left sad
Ignoring the earthquake that Pakistan had
They threw a big tantrum and lost all they had.

Wish for your brother, what you wish for yourself.
Ignoring this dictate, they gathered their wealth
Ignoring all those who can't care for their health
Ignoring them all, to finance The Stealth
They destroyed their own brothers for a notch in their belt.

Relay all my words to those who didn't hear.
Ignoring this order, we sow hatred and fear
Ignoring his words, our destruction we cheer
Ignoring his Sunnah, our path is not clear
O, Prophet Muhammad, I wish you were here!

Refer all matters back to Allah and Rasool
..We too often ignore this invaluable tool.
If we redirect efforts and follow The Rule
And cease catering to whims of an ignorant fool
The whole world could see our radiant jewel.

These are all the things my hijab brings to me.

You say "rag on my head" I say Allah on my side!

You say you don't understand, I say you dont' want too!

You say life is easier without it,I say without it there is no life!

I say Honor..You say Hellfire !

I say Intellegence ...You say Irogance !

I say Joy..You no Justice !

I say Adorable...You say Ashame!

I say Beauitful ...You say too Bold !

But it is mine who I have come to be! I will not bend I will not
shake!

For HIJAB I will always have a place!
